Blossom in the Night

A special person like my Master is described in the Vedas as a flower of the tree which blooms in the night. It is there, but one cannot see it. One does not even see the tree on which it is blooming. But if you have a sensitive nose, and you follow that nose, inevitably you come to the tree and to the flower.

I love this quote...

It is as if our souls, once awakened, have a secret relationship with Him that our personalities only gradually become aware of. That fragrance draws us to this life that will be spent with Him, and then draws us to Him as we live this life. Once you get really sunk into it, your personality can be doing any old daily thing but if you look deep within you find you are only moving with that Fragrance. No matter what we think we are doing, we are really always at His feet inhaling the life giving Fragrance.

Such references to "flower blooming in the night", "inverted tree with roots above and tree below", "barren fig tree", etc. are just wonderful to hear. I wish someone creates a collection of all these esoteric references and maybe create a blog. There are positive ways to use blogs too and I like this SRCM Daily blog which brings the quotes of Sahaj Marg literature for all to read and comment if needed.
